Plymouth Stag Do
Famous for its harbour and, as the saying goes, where there’s a port there’s a party.
The best place to test this theory out during a Plymouth stag do is the Barbican area, which is full of bars and clubs.
But the advantage of Plymouth for stag parties is the wealth of daytime options. A seaside location means watersports on tap, including hovercrafting – one of the more hard to find white-knuckle activities.
Dartmoor National Park is on your doorstep for those after a more wholesome last weekend of freedom. Rock climbing, canoeing and hiking are just some of the options.
Or if you want to pay tribute to Plymouth’s military past – history buffs will know it’s where Francis Drake saw off the Spanish Armada – then get on an army assault course. Hard work but a fun way to redress the balance of a heavy night testing out the aforementioned port theory.
