Whether it be a climbing wall or the real thing and you will earn that first pint as this is hard work! Not for the faint hearted or the puny and even though being tied to a rope it’s perfectly safe, best not look down.
Climbing walls are easy to find in most major town’s or cities and can save travelling time. But for the full experience get out into the country – Derbyshire’s Peak District is particularly good – and tackle the toughest climbs nature has to offer.
